The image above was taken when my nearest human being was on the International Space Station. In 2023, I crossed the Atlantic Ocean on my 40' sailboat. It was a lifelong ambition but also a daunting challenge. Like many, I feared the unknown. 'What ifs' often dictate our choices, steering us towards caution. However, founders, coaches, entrepreneurs, and owners face these doubts daily. Sailing for almost a month out of range of assistance taught me independence through planning, self-sufficiency, and honed skills. Similarly, you thrive in your competitive market and are confident that your solutions, knowledge, and brand will help your clients succeed. After reaching the Caribbean, the Pacific lay ahead, an adventure for another day. You continually evolve your business, services, and brand, constantly telling your story.
Of course, I've had a corporate career and lived the life of a founder and entrepreneur. In the deep and distant past, I found one of the UK's first free ISPs. This was back when the internet was accessed via modems plugged into a wall socket (imagine!), and I founded 'freeisp', and as a particular paint manufacturer would say, 'it did what it says on the tin'. I grew and later sold that business. I then worked for nearly twenty years in corporate IT, working for Microsoft. I loved the variety of my roles there, from consultant to sales, culminating with 5 years spent working closely with business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs, ensuring they could succeed in their given niche.
I bring this mix of adventurer, consultant, entrepreneur, and problem solver to my photography. I've loved photography from an early age, starting with an SLR camera and a darkroom in my bedroom. Decades later, I still create images, tell stories, and capture history. I've photographed sports moments at Wrexham FC and motorcycle races at the Isle of Man. Now, I focus on capturing your brand, a moment in time that tells your story across social media, websites, and print. Brand photography is challenging but incredibly rewarding.
